It is reported that the interstellar object 3I/Atlas is presenting what the International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN) has called "unique challenges" for predicting its trajectory. These difficulties have led the organization to add the object to its specialized comet astronomy campaign for intensified tracking and monitoring. Further reports confirm that, due to the uncertainties in its path, 3I/Atlas has been formally added to the list of potential impact threats tracked by the United Nations-endorsed planetary defense group.
